The build process
Starting on the base of the boosters
Working upwards, building the boosters, stage I & stage II
Base of boosters covered in aluminium foil.
Spray-on adhesive was sprayed on the foil which then attached nicely..
Stage II and stage II finished, except for attaching the nozzles
Stage II and stage II booster assembly finished, starting on stage III
Stage III nozzles
Payload/Capsule with escape system.
Note the grid fins folded up on the sides.
These would deploy if the escape system gets activated.

Fairly realistic bottom view..
Complete.
A nice build with mostly good fitting.

The only part needing a bit of adjusting was the base of stage II that seemed to be a bit wrong size..
Hi!! I wanna build this one,, what type of paper did you use?? Thanks,,
ReplyDeleteSorry for not responding.
DeleteI have not been monitoring this blog.
I used normal printer paper.
Since this is too thin, I doubled the thickness.
After printing, I stuck another sheet on the back using adhesive spray that you can see in the third picture.
It's the kind of spray that turns any paper into a post-it note..
